At Georgetown’s Maple Nursery School we offer morning and afternoon programs for children from the age of 18 months to 5 years old.
Two day Toddler Program (Mon/Wed) or (Tues/Thurs) from 9am to 11:30am. In this program there is an ECE teacher and an Educational assistant for 10 children.
Pre-school Program runs 2, 3 or 5 mornings from 9am to 11:30. There is a ratio of one ECE teacher and one participating parent for 12 children as well as a Educational assistant who floats between two groups for our preschool programs. Parents must provide a criminal check and medical record to participate in the classroom (duty days).
Our Afternoon Pre-school Program runs Tues/Thurs from 1pm to 3:30pm. In this program there is an ECE teacher and an Educational assistant.
Children spend an equal amount of time in the playroom, craft room and gross motor area outside (weather permitting) or in the gym. We have a fenced area to ride bikes and cars, and occasionally go to the playground or for nature walks in the park.
